What kind of person creates a website that looks like this, you might wonder? What kind of insanity leads someone to write 200+ pages of novel and then just post it online? Well, my kind of insanity, of course.
I'm a student who lives in the Southern California area of the USA, owner of a grey furball of a kitty named Dagny (who meows her hello, I'm sure). I'm an English major, with an emphasis on Creative Writing, though at one time I was going to be an Illustration major.
When I was a kid my ambitions were (one at a time) to be a zoologist, writer, adventurer, magician and animal rescuer/activist. Being a magician and an adventurer just didn't seem like they'd work out. And being a zoologist required a lot of studying. So at the age of fifteen I'd decided, very firmly, that I was going to be a writer. And I haven't let anyone else convince me otherwise.
As you can probably tell, I spend most of my time on the computer, and dabble in a lot of things that have lent me the nickname of "Miss Creativity" or "Miss Imagination" throughout my life. I paint, draw, read, write, observe and -- when there's a lull -- love to watch movies. I also like to make website layouts, which accounts for the changes to VD.Net.
In personality I'm terribly shy. If you met me in person I'd be more likely to stare at my feet than anything else. But I'm nowhere that shy around animals; I've always been around animals, and have had cats for most of my life. At the moment I'm looking for an animal rescue to volunteer for, and, in addition to my writing, I've always craved a career relating to animals in some fashion.
